A new report uncovers more influence operations linked to some familiar faces

While Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has publicly taken a pro-Ukraine stand, Russia’s influence in the country continues to run deep. In Class 8, we looked at some of the main characters helping Russia in Italy and unpacked their influence operations there.

Today, we’ll discuss a recent influence campaign aimed at helping Russia try to win the hearts and minds of the Italian people. I think you’ll recognize some of the players and many of their tactics.
